Why can't India produce world class basketball players?
India has a long history of producing world-class athletes in a variety of sports, yet basketball has been an exception. While the country has seen some success in the form of a few individual players, it has not been able to translate this into a successful team or a competitive international presence. This is likely due to a combination of factors, including the lack of a strong grassroots basketball infrastructure, a lack of resources and funding, and a general lack of interest in the sport. However, with increased resources and a more concerted effort to promote the sport, India has the potential to become a global basketball powerhouse.
